Van Ruiten Family Winery

For over 50 years, the Lodi grapes from the Van Ruiten vineyards were sent off to other wineries every summer. But the family decided to dive into winemaking themselves, and in 1999, they started producing their first Van Ruiten Lodi Wines. One of the standout wines from those early days was a Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz blend, which is still a hit today. Then there’s the famous Van Ruiten Vineyards Old Vine Zinfandel and the exceptional Lodi-grown Chardonnay, both of which you can try daily at the Lodi Wineries Tasting Room.
