For over thirty years, our family has been growing top-notch wine grapes in Napa Valley and Acampo/Lodi. We’ve poured our heart and soul into the soils of Northern California, and now we carry those same hardworking values into our family-owned winery, dedicated to crafting high-quality wines.
Since we opened Housley’s Century Oak Winery in 2000, we’ve been making waves with our award-winning wines, all at prices you’ll love. Our 37-acre vineyard in Acampo, nestled in the Mokelumne River AVA, is famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, thanks to the fantastic sandy loam soil. Plus, we source some killer fruit from a small Old Vine Zinfandel plot and Petit Sirah Vineyard nearby to craft incredible wines.
Every harvest is crushed, aged, and bottled right on-site, with our family and winemaker handling every step. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, Old Vine Zinfandel, Petit Sirah, and Field Blend wines all spend time aging in new French Oak Barrels, sometimes for over two years, depending on their vintage and style. We also mix in a few American Oak barrels for our blends and Old Vine Zinfandel. Our top-notch Rosé and gold-medal Chardonnay skip the barrels and head straight to stainless steel tanks after harvest, ensuring a perfect balance of fruit and acidity without that heavy wood taste you find in some California whites.
The name “Century Oak” comes from the majestic valley oak tree watching over our main vineyard and winery.
No need for reservations at our tasting room! It feels like a warm country wine salon, where you can sip on our award-winning Northern California wines and try some fantastic local wine country foods and products we either make or support. Everything we offer is local, hand-picked to pair perfectly with our wines, and they’re things we use ourselves every day. Join us on Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM.
