Barsetti Vineyards

Janis Barsetti Gray and Richard Gray own Barsetti Vineyards. Janis’ grandpa, Gottardo Barsetti, made his way from southern Switzerland to America in 1903 and settled in Galt by 1912. Her dad and grandparents bought the land where the vineyard stands today back in 1941.

Before vines took over in 1995, the land was all about dairy, beef cattle, and crops. Then, in 2001, Barsetti Vineyards officially became a wine label. They’ve got 120 acres planted with Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay in the Lodi Wine Region, just east of Galt.
