After pastries, find yourself in Downtown Lodi! Stroll the tree-lined streets and take in the sights of our rich history. Begin your downtown adventure at the Visitor Center for a free Visitor Guide, and let staff walk you through our local sights and gems. Take a ‘wall dog’ mural self-guided tour through our downtown streets, pop into the Lodi Community Art Center to browse local artists, take a picture of the famous Lodi arch, and shop from an incredible selection of boutiques and specialty stores.

Have you worked up an appetite yet? You’re in luck! Downtown Lodi offers a variety of dining options that are sure to please! Head to The Oxford Kitchen to taste London street market fare from a menu created by Bay Area chef and co-owner Srijith Gopinathan of Ettan in Palo Alto. Start with a crafted cocktail, deliciously deep-fried fish and chips, and ricotta lemon flatbread. For your main course, indulge in a decadent mushroom ravioli in porcini, garlic, and thyme cream sauce or a rich chicken tikka masala bowl over a bed of perfectly cooked jasmine rice.

If you would like to experience wine tasting while taking in Lodi’s beauty, be sure to visit Durst Winery, situated less than 5 miles from Downtown Lodi. Day 2 in Lodi Wine Country

Spend your Saturday morning at Corner Scone Bakery and let the aroma of freshly baked goods whisk you off your feet. This local gem features delicious homemade scones, cookies, quiche, and pies. Satiate your sweet and savory tooth all in one spot for a guaranteed delicious wake-up call!

If you’re an early bird looking for scenic views, make your way to Lodi Lake and take an early morning stroll on the nature trail, where you can take in the sights and sounds of local animals, birds, and fauna to center yourself with nature before your fun day ahead. Don’t just take our word for it; see why so many locals and tourists line up for artisinal woodfired pizza and appetizers on Wednesday through Saturday evenings. Here, you will find a small wine shop that carries local Lodi favorites among other unique natural wines and hard-to-find labels. Be sure to ask your server for wine recommendations to accompany your dinner; as you simply cannot go wrong with an order of the mushroom dip, a seasonal salad, and the pesto pizza!  End the night with a delectable cannoli or a buffalo milk soft serve sundae topped with salted caramel (don’t worry, we won’t stop you from ordering both!). 

Day 3 in Lodi Wine Country

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast from The Farm Café at Michael David Winery, which offers a sizeable country-style breakfast and lunch menu! You can’t go wrong with a hefty helping of their delicious corned beef hash or a seasonal omelet special.  After a short walk on the extensive property, find yourself at the Michael David tasting room, where you can opt for an early afternoon wine tasting. On your way out, be sure to purchase a famous berry pie from The Farm Cafe; trust us, you won’t regret it!

Conclude your weekend in Lodi with an early afternoon at Calivines Winery and Olive Mill. In their newly designed tasting room, which opened in 2021, you will find the perfect place to spend an afternoon sipping on fantastic wine, tasting incredible Lodi-grown olive oil, and enjoying a curated small-plates snack menu, should you get hungry through your tasting.
