Pedal Through Lodi: A Cyclist’s Dream Destination

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or simply love a leisurely ride, Lodi, California, invites you to discover why it’s one of the region’s best-kept secrets for bike enthusiasts.

With year-round sunshine, gently winding country roads, and views framed by vineyards, orchards, and peaceful pastures, Lodi offers a riding experience that’s as scenic as it is serene. Cyclists come for the miles of open routes—and stay for the award-winning wine waiting at the finish line. Dozens of wineries and tasting rooms are tucked amid the vines, ready to toast your ride with a glass of our signature Zinfandel or a crisp Albariño.

Lodi also hosts cycling events throughout the year, drawing riders from all over to enjoy the area’s warm hospitality and unique routes.

Looking for adventure beyond the vines? Ride to the Cosumnes River Preserve, a haven for birders during spring and fall migrations. Cruise toward the California Delta, where charming river towns dot the Sacramento River. Or take a scenic loop through Micke Grove Park, home to a zoo, museum, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Thanks to routes curated by local cyclists, exploring Lodi on two wheels has never been easier. Experience the region’s rich agricultural heritage, visit inviting wineries and cultural landmarks, and savor the eclectic food scene along the way.

All of the bike routes can be printed from the Visit Lodi website, downloaded into your Garmin or accessed through the RideWithGPS app on your phone.  Click here for more information about using the RideWithGPS app.
