Kutcher, Kunis visit Lodi
SO ASHTON KUTCHER AND MILA KUNIS WERE IN LODI, AFTER ALL.
Reports were flying on social media that the couple was staying at Wine and Roses last week, but no one was able to confirm their visit.
Now Eonline has posted a summary of their low-key RV honeymoon, which did indeed include a stop in Lodi.
Considered Hollywood A-listers, Kutcher and Kunis were married in Oak Glen, in the San Bernardino Mountains. Among other parts, Kutcher played the title role in the move “Jobs,” based on the career of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Kunis was in “Ted,” and “Jupiter Rising.”
The newlyweds spent time in Yosemite before heading to Lodi, where they had dinner at El Maguey Mexican Grill in the Lowe’s Shopping Center. Kutcher had a taco and enchilada combo and Kunis dined on fajitas, said Sandra Guzman, whose family operates the restaurant.
“They were nice. Everyone respected their privacy,” she said.
The couple had their 9-month daughter, Wyatt, with them.
“She is really cute,” Guzman said. “She was screaming, but she was having a great time.”
She said the couple was dining with an older, unidentified couple.
The newlyweds stayed at Wine and Roses and sampled wine at the Towne House restaurant there, then strolled around the grounds, according to the entertainment news source. From Lodi, the couple traveled to Napa, then drove back through the Central Valley.
Maybe Lodi is getting a reputation with the Hollywood crowd?
The Kutcher-Kunis visit follows the luncheon appearance last September at Wine and Roses of actor Will Smith, in town at to do research for a movie on Lodi doc and football concussion pioneer Dr. Bennet Omalu.
