Docent-Led Museum Tours

Dive even deeper into the history of San Joaquin County by embarking on a docent-led tour of the San Joaquin County Historical Museum, now available on the third Saturday of each month (weather permitting).

Our knowledgeable docents will take you through a selection of our curated exhibit buildings, share fascinating facts, highlight lesser-known stories, and bring history to life!

After your tour, take in the natural beauty of our 18.5-acre campus, including the Sunshine Trail and Weber Cottage Gardens. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the Oak Forest Lawn, and stop by the Museum Mercantile to browse our selection of books and souvenirs.

The cost of the tour is $5 per person, in addition to regular admission (see below). Tours begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and last approximately 1.5 hours.

Regular admission:

Adults: $7.00; seniors and military: $6; youth (6-17): $5:00; kids ages 0-5 and Members: free. Parking in Micke Grove Park: $6.00.
