The Jessie’s Grovery Winery tasting room is housed in an 1870′s building whose exterior was carefully preserved while necessary structural changes were made inside. Other buildings of interest include a two story house that was built in 1905 and an 1870 barn in the oak grove which houses a museum. New buildings have not been added in order to preserve the authentic historic environment. Take a step back in time with your pup when you visit Lodi!

For over 50 years, the Lodi grapes grown in the Van Ruiten vineyards were harvested and shipped to other wineries every summer. The family wanted to branch out into winemaking, and in 1999 the first varieties of the Van Ruiten Lodi Wines went into production. Twenty years later, visitors enjoy these varieties with their four-legged friends resting easily by their side.
