Micke Grove Zoo

The Details
Located in the heart of Micke Grove Regional Park one mile west of Highway 99 off Armstrong Road in Lodi, the Micke Grove Zoo, founded in 1955, is home to native and exotic species from all over the world, including several special status species such as the golden eagle, cotton-top tamarin, black-and-white ruffed lemur, and Waldrapp ibis.
Beautiful exhibits take visitors on a journey through some of the most exotic places in the world, including the Tropical Forest Canopy, home to green iguanas and Prevost’s squirrels, and the Island Lost in Time, featuring lemurs, geckos, cockroaches, and radiated tortoises from Madagascar. The zoo’s most fascinating additions include the rare fossa, a playful bobcat, and a majestic snow leopard. The Micke Grove Zoo offers many other adventures too, including special events and family programs throughout the year, zoo camp, and awarding winning birthday parties for children turning ages 4-10.
