Michael David Winery is a sixth-generation, family-owned winery in Lodi that combines bold, award-winning wines with memorable experiences. Visitors can enjoy casual tastings at the standing bars or relax by the pond or on the patio. The property features an on-site Farm Café serving breakfast and lunch, a Bakery + Fruit Stand, and an outdoor Bistro kitchen. The winery is both kid- and dog-friendly, with a playground and plenty of space to explore. All wines are sustainably grown under the Lodi Rules program, so every pour - from Freakshow and Misfits & Mavens to classic varietals - offers a story to savor.

History

Rooted in Lodi since the 1860s, the Phillips family began as a roadside fruit stand before opening their bonded winery in 1984. Fifth-generation grape growers Michael and David Phillips transformed the family’s farming legacy into a bold, unconventional wine brand. Today, the sixth generation continues the family tradition, combining sustainable farming practices with a playful spirit and a deep connection to the land and community.

Wine Tasting: Daily, 10:00am – 5:00pm (last pour 4:30pm)
Walk-ins welcome for groups of 6 or fewer. Reservations are highly recommended for Groups of 7+

Outdoor Bistro & Bottle Service: Fri – Sun, 11:00am – 4:30pm (Mar – Nov)
Available on a walk-in basis.

Farm Café: Daily, 8:00am – 3:00pm
