Housed in a beautifully restored building over 100 years old, the lounge combines local history with a versatile, inviting space for gatherings, wine exploration, and socializing with friends.
History
Located in one of downtown Lodi’s historic buildings, Cellardoor was created as a collaborative tasting space for two of the region’s celebrated wineries—Michael David Winery and Van Ruiten Winery. Both families bring deep roots in Lodi winegrowing, a commitment to quality and sustainability, and a passion for hospitality. The lounge was designed as more than a tasting room: it’s a place to explore exceptional wines, experience local history, and enjoy the charm of downtown Lodi. Today, Cellardoor remains a hub for wine enthusiasts and community gatherings, highlighting the best of Lodi wine country.
