Located just 35 miles south of Sacramento and 90 miles east of San Francisco, Lodi is conveniently bordered by Highway 99 on the east and Interstate-5 to the west. Three major airports are less than two hours away, and Amtrak stops in Lodi several times a day with routes originating from both the north and south. Once in Lodi, the “Grapeline” bus transportation system runs continuous loops around all major parts of the city, making Lodi attractions and venues easily accessible.

Coast Starlight

The Coast Starlight train takes you to all the hot spots on the West Coast: Seattle, Portland, Eugene, San Francisco, Monterey, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. En route the scenery creates a gorgeous backdrop ? snow-covered mountains, dense forests, fertile valleys and long stretches of Pacific Ocean shoreline. There are plenty of places to stop along the way. Stroll along Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. Take a break in Paso Robles where you can visit one of over 48 wineries or relax in the natural hot springs. Stop in San Luis Obispo, take a scenic tour along the Pacific Coast and climb the enchanted hill to Hearst Castle.

Lodi Station

Lodi Station

Lodi's multi-modal transit station (Lodi Station) offers numerous travel options for anyone looking to visit Lodi. The Grapeline is a fixed-route service which operates 5 weekday and 4 weekend routes from the multi-modal station.  In addition, General Public Dial-A-Ride is available. The Lodi Station multi-modal station also receives service from South County Transit (SCT/LINK) connecting to Galt, Elk Grove and Sacramento; the San Joaquin Regional Transit District connecting to Stockton and SJ County; Calaveras Transit connecting to Valley Springs, San Andreas, Angels Camp and Murphys; Greyhound and Amtrak. Amtrak serves the Lodi Station via train daily with two north and two south train trips. In addition, Amtrak's bus service connects to the station offering additional service.

For more than 70 years, Oakland International Airport has been an important force in aviation history and a contributor to the economic well being of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The original airport at North Field was built in 1927 and is still in operation today for air cargo, general aviation and corporate jet activities. The San Joaquins will take you from San Francisco (via thruway motor coach) or Sacramento to Merced, where you'll transfer to Yosemite. With spectacular waterfalls, scenic overlooks and winding trails throughout 1,169 square miles of parkland, Yosemite National Park holds a bit of magic for every traveler.
